Upgrading an Older Hot Water System in Castle Hill
Wilco Plumbing attended a property in Castle Hill, NSW, to install a new 315L Rheem Stellar hot water system, replacing an existing hot water unit that was more than five years old.
Upgrading a hot water system is an important part of maintaining a reliable hot water supply, particularly as existing units age and may become less efficient or require additional maintenance.
For this Castle Hill installation, the team selected a 315L Rheem Stellar storage hot water system, providing the property with a substantial hot water storage capacity suited to households with higher hot water demands.
Installing the New 315L Rheem Stellar Hot Water System
Our plumbing team coordinated the delivery of the new hot water tank and the removal of the old unit as part of the replacement process.
Before beginning the installation, the power supply to the existing hot water system was switched off to allow the work to proceed safely.
The new 315L Rheem Stellar tank was then installed, with the necessary power connections addressed as part of the works. The team also attended to the tempering valve, which plays an important role in regulating the temperature of hot water delivered to household fixtures.
With the new tank installed, the property was equipped with an updated hot water storage system from Rheem, a well-established hot water manufacturer in Australia.
A Practical Hot Water Upgrade for the Property
Replacing an older hot water system provides an opportunity to install modern equipment designed for dependable everyday use.
The 315L Rheem Stellar offers generous storage capacity, making it a practical option for properties with substantial hot water requirements.
This Castle Hill project highlights Wilco Plumbing's experience with hot water system replacements, from coordinating the new tank and removing the existing unit through to completing the installation.
